My children love this toy. I bought it for my 2 year old but his 9 year old sister loves it too. It's great fun that keeps them entertained for long periods of time once they start playing ice cream shop.The only issue (if you could call it that) is that sometimes the scooper button comes off but can be easily reattached. The ice cream stays on very nicely due to the unseen and unattainable magnets inside of the ice cream and cones. Great toy! Mellissa & Doug products have been family favorites for the past 15 years!
I bought this toy for my two year old niece and she absolutely loves it and doesn't put it down. It tought her coordination, and the best part about it is that it is fun. She thinks she is running an ice cream parlor. I highly recommend this toy for toddlers. They will definitely enjoy it!
I am "Melissa and Doug" fan, but the ice cream toys are by far my favorite. My grandsons play for hours creating their "shop", giving everyone their favorite flavors, etc. Also, these toys have been through every scenario you can imagine, and still look and perform like new. Thanks, M and D.!
I got this set and the birthday cake set for my 4 yr old niece for her birthday. Her Mom said she loves them and has a lot of fun playing with them. I thought they were adorable and couldn't decide which one to get so I got both.
Fun toy! The cones, scoops, and ice cream are all magnetic so makes it a lot of fun "scooping" the ice cream onto the cone. Big hit with all the kids (2-8 yrs.old) A little pricey, but worth it because I know it will last.
I bought this for my 5 year old to use with her play kitchen. She loves to pretend play and this item just added to the fun and enjoyment she gets out of sharing and playing with others. I would recommend the toy and buy anything from Melissa and Doug - - their toys are GREAT!

THIS TURNED OUT TO BE MY GRANDAUGHTER'S FAVORITE CHRISTMAS GIFT. MY GRANDSON LIKED IT,ALSO. THEY HAVE REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING WITH IT.
This was a gift for a (4) year old girl, and she loves it. I didn't really think about why there are (2) ice cream scoops, but her friend, (also 4) came over, and both girls had a wonderful time swapping different "tastes" of ice cream. The magnets are surprisingly strong, and the girls were actually stacking ice cream (4) scoops high. Another Melissa and Doug A+ toy.
This has been a favorite of my two year old daughter's at a friends house, and now she has it for her own.
She loves making us icecream, asking our favorite and playing with it on her own.
