Product Description
Poor old croc has a tooth that's bothering him; pretend to be a dentist to help him out. Press the wrong tooth and he'll surprise you. With no loose parts and exciting snapping jaws, this is one game that will thrill toddlers and primary schoolers alike. No batteries required. My twins (3 1/2 yrs old) are terrified of this, but we grown-ups find it awesome. Our one yr old likes it so much he plays alone (not smart- I don't think he gets the purpose!). Great game for teaching turn-taking, since nobody really wants a turn anyway. The big kids will play it using a toothbrush to avoid finger snapping (which doesn't hurt- just surprising). Fun fun fun!
Played game with 4 year old students- they loved it. It kept them guessing and were surprised every time.
Bought this for my 3 yr old boy, but my 6 yr old boy likes playin with it too. My younger boy is a little afraid of the mouth snapping shut but still likes to play with it. They did figure out that the tooth that causes the mouth to close is harder to push so its easy to cheat. So we made a rule that once you touch it, you gotta push it! :) I would recommend this toy, its fun.
We bought this for a long road trip. My toddlers loved playing with it but I had to keep putting it back together. It is two pieces (top of mouth is one and bottom of mouth is another) and it does come apart pretty easily.
I could sense the heart pumping excitement builds up every time my 4 year old play this game. He knows 1 mistake and the crocodile will grab his little fingers. You play it by pushing down 1 tooth of the croc for each person's turn. Each time you set the game, the tooth that will make the mouth closes is selected at random. The croc's mouth closes but is not that hard enough to hurt their fingers. 2 or more players. Does not require batteries to operate.
I have seen this toy for years, it is a classic. This is a great toy in a dentist's waiting area.
Great for the crocodile/alligator loving child. Wonderful at creating suspense with every push of a tooth. Grandson enjoys the anticipation of the "chomp". I did not realize when I ordered it that it was not like the original Crocodile Dentist, so was a little disappointed. It pleased the grandson so it did what was intended.
The kids love this toy. We love watching them laugh and scream when they get chomped by the croc. our girls are 3 1/2 yrs old and thats the first toy they want to play with when someone comes over. they've pulled the head off of the first one so many times that it finally broke. I had to buy another one fast. They love it! costs alot for something so simple, but it's worth it for the fun & laughs it brings.
I gave this toy to my six year old grandson. He was a little scared when the mouth would close and his three year old brother was even more scared. I think they will have to save this toy until they are a little older. They were afraid it would hurt their fingers when the mouth snapped shut. It did not hurt but the sudden snap even gave me a scare.
Toy was too small compare to what we had expected. It made in China and grossly overpriced. But we love to play with it.
I was disappointed in this toy. It was a travel size and I was expecting a bigger size. I had seen the larger version and was really looking forward to giving it to my daughter. As is turns out, she was a little scared of it anyway, so she probably would have really been scared of the larger one. Anyway, it is a great toy, but I would prefer the larger version.
