 "Entertaining and Educational" 2009-08-23
By Michael Finney (USA)
I got this for my 2 year old son. Most of the activities are to advanced for him including the mouse, which I've pushed into the mouse storage area in the computer. However, he loves the letters part. He can press any letter and it will say the letter, the letter's sound, and something that starts with that letter. He likes repeating the letter and the item that starts with that letter. He will also go hunting for a specific letter when he wants to see something specific. For example, when he wants to see the fish, he hunts for the F key and presses it.

"My almost 3 yr old loves it!" 2009-08-22
By Tessa (Florida)
My mom bought this for my son's 3rd birthday today (he will be 3 next week), and he loves it. He can't keep away from it. He keeps opening it, turning on the switch, and punching all the keys, then turning it off and closing it, only to return to it within a few minutes. He just can't get enough. He's been playing with it now for a half hour and is already repeating "A for Ant." He has not gotten the hang of the games yet, because he is still enthralled with all the letters and numbers mode. I will update my rating if there is anything negative I feel should be reported, but so far it's a hit!

 "A little advanced for a 2 year old" 2009-07-04
By Chloe's mom
Lots of great features, but my 2 year old (who asked for this toy on a trip to ToysRUs) has a little trouble with the games. She loves the phonics mode and I know will grow into the others. She loves to pretend type, but has a little trouble with the very unresponsive mouse; I even have trouble navigating with it! Definitely wait until your child is bigger if you want them to take full advantage of all the fun features!

I got the older version of this laptop for my son when he was about 9 months, to keep his attention away from my own laptop. It worked, and more than that, by 19 months he was recognizing and saying all the letters. The old one was extremely shock resistant and the handle was a nice feature, however, after spilling water over the keyboard half of the keys stopped working. Therefore I got this newer version that has also the typing feature and I also got one for our friends' son, who enjoys it as well.

One observation though... my son is now 21 months and although this was his favorite toy for almost a year, his interest seems to be decreased lately.. I would probably recommend this for 1-4 years olds.

 "Kaleidoscope" 2009-08-20
By Sienna's Mommy (Florida)
We bought this for our daugher when she was a few months old since she loved to watch lights and colors. It also seemed like a toy she could work herself somewhat. The toy is listed as appropriate for 3+ months but she didn't use it (without Mommy or Daddy pressing the buttons) until about 6 months or better for a couple reasons. The kaleidoscope is heavy - too heavy for a 3-6 month old to lift with any control. Also, the handles are very wide so tiny hands can't grasp and push the button on the inside to activate the music/lights. The buttons on the inside are the same color as the handle so little babies can't tell what to do - there's no contrast. She's 11 months now and after pressing the buttons a few times she's bored and moves on. It's a cute toy but definately needs 6+ months to begin to enjoy it.

 "Not my favorite" 2009-08-19
By A. Larson
The toy is not a kaleidoscope. Its actually a little boring for my 9 month old...partly because she doesn't get the part where you have to push the buttons and they don't stand out from the handle so its not intuitive for her to press anywhere...So, long story short...she grabs the handle and it does.....nothing. We have to push the buttons for her. Also, the little mirror thing on the bottom is a waste. I wish the colors flashed on the bottom part too. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose to spend my toy dollars elsewhere.

"Fun for the first five minutes" 2009-08-05
By Mommy of 2 (Wisconsin)
Bought this for my six month old, she really does not care for it at all. My five year old autistic son did enjoy it for about five minutes and set it aside. It has been collecting dust since.

It is just another toy where you press a button and get a short song and light show, nothing more.

 "Great toy" 2009-06-30

for learning colors in 3 languages. Wish they had this when my oldest was a baby. But he is 4.5 and still loves this toy more than the little one. Easy for kids to grasp and use. We love it!

Melissa & Doug Rainbow 6 Color Stamp Pad

Product Description

Each color is divided in this 6 color stamp pad so there is no blending of colors. The set includes Non-toxic washable ink.

Customer Buzz
My boys really like this. The only complaint I would have, is they tend to put a stamp on color after color and the yellow is already blue. They might not do this if they were seperate stamps. The convienence of one stamp pad outweighs that problem.

Customer Buzz
This was part of a gift for my 4 year old grandson. It was exactly as represented and is just what I needed for him.

Customer Buzz
I've gotten the same enthusiasm for this stamp pad from my 4-yr-old daughter and 8-yr-old nephew. My nephew enjoyed my daughter's horse stamp set, so I bought him the dinosaur set recently. There is something extra special for the kids in getting that BIG, bright, extra stamp pad with the stamp pad in the stamp set! The colors are vibrant and offer so much more creativity when the kids are using the stamps. A worthwhile purchase!

Customer Buzz
It's beautiful and easy to use and carry around. My kid loves to add stamps to her drawings and colorings, and it's a good price too.

Customer Buzz
We've spent a fortune on stamp pads of individual colors, and this one is the best. It's fun for stamping and fingerprinting (like any of the Ed Emberley finger/thumb/funprint books). We love Ed Emberley around here, and his books are all multicolored, so you have a choice, either lose some of the magic with monochromatic fingerprinting, spend $30 on individual stamp pads - if you can find them, or BUY THIS!
