CLUE JR. Game

Product Description

Customer Buzz
My daughter loves this game. The content was changed so it is kid-friendly (no one whacking anyone with a lead pipe, etc). It teaches logical thinking as the kids have to narrow down "whodunit" based on the clues they are given. Great game.

This was a fun game. My kids and I love playing it. It is a good primer for the real game.

Clue was a favorite of mine. I explained to my soon to turn 5 year old son that it was about catching a bad guy and he wanted it. We got the Jr. version of course and when it turned out it was about catching the guy who ate the cookie, he was a little disappointed, as was I. He did end up enjoying it but it took a lot of energizing on my end. He likes solving mysteries, etc. He is in K-4 so he was ready to play. I just wish, considering this is for 5 and up, that the theme was not quite so toddlerish! Boys want action and this is just too "cute". We will play it because I am good at getting him involved and I want him to play Clue with the family later but I understand now why it was so hard to find.

I bought this game for my grandkids who are 8 and 6.
The first time we played it together I found it harder
than the original CLUE. I don't think there's anyway the kids
alone could learn to play themselves without an adult.
Over all I found it much more confusing than the original game I played
as a kid.

I bought this game for my child and it initally was more complicated to play this game than the origanl clue. Once we got the jist of this game we found the board was to small and complicated . Its an ok game but we all can play the adult version of clue with much more fun!

Customer Buzz
We have quite a few board games at our house. Clue Jr. is one that the kids (6 & 8) pick more frequently than the others. You will need to play it with the kids several times until they get the hang of it. After that, they will be able to play on their own. However, it is a great way to sit down and spend time with your child too.

This game is good for taking turns, working out strategies and following directions.

We bought this game for our daughter when she was five. It was a great introduction to the concept of the process of elimination, and she loved playing it. At age 8 she's now ready for the adult version of Clue, but we haven't given away the junior one yet-- still too attached to it!

This game is awesome!!!!! First of all it's not educational all u do is move any person around and pick up clues(which r not words). It durable, i only gave it 4 stars because the people fall over a lot and u see a clue. We have regular clue i love that game! but my little brother doesn't! It's too hard for him! Even with my mom and dad's help. He got it for his birthday and he LOVES it!!!!! He loves that he can play by himself with no trouble. And he has a fair chance of wining just my mom, dad,me,and anyone that comes over. I even like it!!!!! Note to parents: little kids love this game. big kids that want to be challennge don't buy it! It a really good game overall. Thank u for listening!!! Good-bye!!!

Customer Buzz
this is a very nice game if you want your child to think.
analyzing what happened to the chocolate cake?
who took it? its very cute too, very suitable for kids.
great fun for kids.

Customer Buzz
We bought this for our 6 year old son and he fell in love with it!! I think Mom and Dad had just as much fun if not more. It is a fairly quick game (30 min or so). It is also very educational with deductive reasoning being challenged!! Definitely recommend.

I got this game for our 10 year old in April. She and her friends tried to play it at her birthday party, but there are so many parts, and the setup to start to play takes so long, that they ended up just making up their own game with the various pieces. Since then, we tried to set it up to play again, and there are about 10 different stacks of different kinds of cards and tokens to keep separated. I'm putting them each in plastic baggies so setup is easier next time. The mechanics of just getting going on this aren't hard, just time-consuming, and have prevented us from actually being able to play the game yet... If they could streamline that process I'm sure it would be a lot more fun.

We love this game--loved the classic Clue and love having something different, but the same. Great for Harry Potter fans, but anyone can play.

Customer Buzz
The rules are complicated enough that you have to think hard, think fast, and think positive with the group playing-- give it a practice round, or forgive mistakes. We had a very competitive college-age crowd playing and it was a success.

Customer Buzz
After putting the game together we quickly realized it was a little too much for us. There are a number of added features that become confusing and muddles the game. We decided to throw out all the "extras" and play it like the original Clue game and then it became fun. But it was disappointing that the game makers felt they had to add to it to make it enjoyable. Our kids are 10 and 9 and both did not like the extra challenges at all.

I bought this for my wife who is a Harry Potter fanatic. I like the books and movies, but am not much into remakes of clue. But once I played this, I was hooked. I love the randomness, the fairness, and the fact of the possibility that no one can win. It is worthwhile for anyone, and a great buy.

We opened this early Christmas week. College kids home and game night took place in front of fire. We loved it because even though you might know who caused a disappearance of a main character, where it happened, and how it was done you may never get the chance because of the dark mark! It causes you to lose house points. So you might be out of the game when your house points are gone! The room entry doors are sealed at different times. Same rules as the other Clue game, but added tweeks(Dark Mark and spells)make this game really fun.

I purchased this for my niece for Christmas. She's only 8 and the age starts at 9 but she's quite intelligent however, the difficulty of comprehension for that age is a few years off compared to a regular CLUE game. Her 18 and 20 year old cousins sat with her at Christmas and it took the three of them almost an hour and a half to comprehend the concept before they could actually play the game. They said it was fun once you got it down but said if they had to try to explain the rules to someone else it would take just as long to get through before game play could actually begin. Takes a lot of the fun out of it.

Customer Buzz
I love the game clue and this is a great variation on it. It adds some twists and turns that aren't in the basic Clue game. It is a little more complicated to learn, but once you learn it, it is easy to play. The spinning wheels under the game board are more durable than I would expect.

Customer Buzz
Anyone who is a Clue fan and can't get enough of Harry Potter will enjoy this new version of "Clue". With the market being flooded with electronic gizzmos, it's nice to have a board game to play with family.

Customer Buzz
Awesome game! You need to play it a few times before you figure out all of the rules. The dark mark cards can apply to all players or one. Read the entire card carefully. If you have extra cards that are in Dumbledor's office you can go in and look at them they are not hidden.
