Sassy Snap and Squirt Sea Creatures

Product Description

The Snap and Squirt Sea Creatures inspire baby's imagination by encouraging a variety of bath activities. Help baby snap the characters together to form a circle or chain. Show baby how to squeeze the characters to fill them with water for squirting fun. The fishbowl-shaped organizer is sure to make after-bath pick-up fun. Two large suction cups allow fishbowl to be attached to bathroom wall to allow squirters to drip dry.

Customer Buzz
Pick another bath toy. The creatures snap together, but the connection is flimsy and they just fall apart. They are very difficult to squeeze (to squirt water) for an adult, so you can imagine how tough it is for my 13-month-old son. And many of you might like the storage bag and its ability to drain the water out while sticking to your tub wall; however, the area at the very bottom (where 98% of the water will drain) is sold plastic...the sides are mesh. Silly design. Too many bath toys out there to waste your money on this product.

Customer Buzz
The bag doesn't suction well to the wall. I've had these for about a year and they are still in good condition we throw them in the dishwasher every other week just to sanitize them. The bag was trashed about the same time it arrived. :)

Customer Buzz
The squirt holes are recessed so the toys can't be completely emptied of water. They are very hard to squeeze anyway so not much fun. No matter how hard I try to empty these toys some water remains, and a couple of days after a bath some mildew or scum came out of one. Beyond yucky. I will never buy another squirty bath toy.

Customer Buzz
My grandson is almost 1. He has loved playing with these for about 6 months. They don't snap together well, so he gets frustrated with that, but likes to carry around the octopus. I learned early that they are not good in bath. They don't squirt because they are a harder plastic. In really hot water they are squishable, but then its too hot for baby. Plus, you can't get the water out when bath is over - even if you shake and shake, there's still a little water in them. I would buy it again, but it shouldn't be listed as a bath toy.

Customer Buzz
I have trouble squeezing these to make the water squirt out - no way can my kids do them! They also don't link together very easily and once together they don't stay together.

Customer Buzz
These things are very poorly designed. They each have a hole where water gets in, but won't come out. Then the water inside turns into mildew. My daughter is teething and likes to chew and suck on toys; in this case, she sucks the mildewy water right out of the hole. Horrible.

Customer Buzz
My kids, age 4 and 9 months, both enjoy playing with these. They're great colors, and the little bag keeps them all together. My one complaint though, is that it's really hard to get all of the water out of the creatures. Being that they are bath toys, I assumed they wouldn't hold water (re: MOLD) like they do. They are made of a very hard plastic, and it's hard to squeeze all of the water out of them during clean up. And squeezing some of them permanently distorts their shape. I imagine we'll be tossing them soon, as there's no way to keep the insides from molding--and who whats that in the tub with their kiddos?

Customer Buzz
Sea creatures are a good size for small hands, but the material they are made of is too hard to squeeze to squirt any water.

Customer Buzz
My 1-year-old son loves these toys. . . BUT they are way too hard for him to squeeze and the water just stays inside the toys and gets really moldy. There were black rings around the outsides of all the squirt holes. Then, of course, the toys went straight into his mouth and it was not a healthy situation. There are so many other toys out there to keep our little guys happy in the tub. These have already been put into the recycle bin. I don't recommend them at all.

Customer Buzz
This item looked cute and was advertised as bath squirt toys that snap together. The snap together feature worked well but the toys were too stiff and hard to squeeze especially for a 6 month old. I returned this item and bought something else.

LeapFrog Clickstart My First Computer

Product Description

leapfrog's ClickStart My First Computer is the first preschool learning system featuring a desktop experience that looks and works like a grownup PC. The ClickStart platform turns any TV into a child's first computer, simultaneously introducing core preschool skills and basic computer functionality. A friendly green puppy named Scout accompanies little ones on their learning journeys, appearing on the wireless keyboard with automatic shut-off as well as in onscreen games and activities.

Rich with content, ClickStart My First Computer offers exciting games as well as engaging software applications that work together to help kids earn treats for their friend Scout. Includes wireless keyboard with automatic shut-off, cartridge based console, child-sized mouse and right or left hand adjustable mouse pad. Requires 4 "AA" batteries and 4 "C" batteries (not included). Measures 16" x 8".

Customer Buzz
I love Leapfrog toys and have several for my daughter, but this was a huge disappointment for us. She would love to play it but the mouse is impossible for her to use and just doesn't work well at all. What should have been a great learning toy is nothing but frustration for us all.

Customer Buzz
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son because he loves to play in my computer, and this looked appropiate and fun. He was immidiately hooked up. The games are engaging and fun. It comes with 4 preloaded games, which are very educational. My son has been playing with it for two months now, and still loves it. He has already learned colors, shapes, numbers from 1-10, and his ABC's! It really is educational. I purchased the Dora Explorer game which also teaches to count in Spanish. I love this toy. I don't usually write reviews, but this toy really deserves it.

Customer Buzz
My three year old loves playing with this computer and has learned a great deal from playing with it too (phonics, basic spelling and word recognition, computer typing and mousing skills). And even though the mouse is very difficult to use (for me), she has managed to adapt to its very poor design and quality and make it work. At three years old she needs to be on level 2 already and my 1 1/2 year old likes using it too, so I am not sure how long it will last as an educational toy but younger kids can appreciate it too. If you don't want the batteries to run out put the toy away when not in use. Though it doesn't have an off switch, the mouse goes to sleep if you don't move it for a while.

Customer Buzz
Our kids got the Clickstart for Christmas. It was easy for them to use (3.5-year-old twins and 7-year-old daughter), and fun. It helped them learn their colors and numbers. They had fun with it for two months...until the mouse stopped working. Life was crazy so it took me a month to call Clickstart Customer Service. After a 20-minute wait and a long conversation, they told me they'd replace the unit...until they realized it had been longer than 3 months since we'd received it. The warranty is only THREE months! On an electronic toy for children--it's ridiculous!

Don't waste your money: This toy is NOT durable, and LeapFrog has LOUSY customer service! Thankfully Amazon is refunding all but 10% of purchase price. Better than nothing.

Customer Buzz
We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our almost three year old - and he was very excited!! Along with it, we purchased the Bob the Builder and Thomas cartridges. It was very easy set up - I would strongly recommend purchasing the adapter to save yourself from continuing to purchase size C Batteries. Although each cartridge offers only three to four games, there are different levels and it is amazing how much keyboarding and basic screen navigation he's learned already. The games all reinforce letter and number recognition, colors, shapes, following directions. He plays these games frequently - recently we also purchased the Finding Nemo and Go Diego games.

Customer Buzz
This is the second try for this click start toy. I bought one for Christmas 08 for my 4 year old granddaughter and we sent it back as the mouse ate batteries! So I decided to give it one more try. After sending it back I started reading other reviews and lots of people have had the same trouble that we did. Fortunately, the second try is a keeper. My granddaugher loves her click start and we will definitely be keeping this one.

Customer Buzz
I was really looking forward to the arrival of this toy after reading all the positive reviews but, sorry to say, it doesn't meet my expectations. The key board and mouse pad seem to have a mind of their own. I understand the mouse is made for little hands but even my 3 yr old has a hard time pointing and clicking. It could be that this particular keyboard and mouse are defective since it appears like not too many people have experienced this. [...]. The learning material is so-so, it didn't meet my expectations but my 3 yr old seems to enjoy it (too bad the mouse won't cooperate).

Customer Buzz
i got this for my 3 1/2 yr old little boy for christmas. he loves it so much i can barely get him off it. watch out...it's addicting!! but they also learn a lot of neat skills. the games are VERY educational. it's amazng how good a small child can get with the mouse and hand-eye coordination. all the games are fun. my son laughs so much at the little green puppy in the game, too. it's challenging enough that sometimes he needs help especially when his game is on the 2nd level. last week i went on vacation and at the last second i took the keypad & base along because "you never know".....and it turned out to be a lifesaver on the trip's rainy days, and times when i just wanted some quiet time to myself at the resort. it's so easy to just plug the base into the TV and an outlet...and then set the keyboard across the room from it. my friend and her 2 1/2 yr old daughter were with us on vacation and her little one wanted one so bad..and they are now going out to get one. this was the one "special toy" my son did not have to share on his trip. it's sooo special to him, noone can touch it -except mommy.

it's also durable and very user friendly. i thought i'd have to explain most things to my son, and he just figured everything out on his own because the games give voiced directions as to what to do next, along with pictures of what part of the keypad to use. the keypad is sooo easy for kids to read. anyway, it's awesome. i would highly highly recommend it! i hope you get one!

Customer Buzz
My 3 year old has some delays which affect his dexterity. This is by far the best toy he has. He not only loves it, but it is doing wonders for his coordination. I LOVE this toy.

Customer Buzz
This computer has great value in teaching preschoolers the essential keyboarding and mouse skills in a safe way. You don't have to worry about your kids clicking all around on your own computer and damaging it in the process.

There is one major design flaw in my opinion though: There is no on/off switch. And although the computer does "sleep" after some time, the mouse and keyboard are still using batteries, those red lights are always on. And while I definitely recommend buying the optional plug, you still need a set of AA batteries for the keyboard. I learned after going through two sets of batteries in about one week, that I should remove the batteries and insert them again each time we want to use it again. Not too convenient considering you have to unscrew the
battery cover all the while your impatient preschooler is waiting.
That said it is a great toy.

Customer Buzz
This is a must have to accompany the DVD player as it allows the player to be connected directly to the TV and the car adapter and headphones are great for car travel. We are definitely getting our money's worth from this durable duo.

Customer Buzz
My 3 year old granddaughter figured out the switches immediately and tested the unit for ruggedness. It passed! Extremely good entertainment value.

Customer Buzz
I bought the accessory pack for the Fisher Price kid tough DVD Player for
my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter. She watches it constantly, only stopping to
change DVD's. She really needed the on the go kit for when we're in the car.
And the cord is plenty long enough to accommodate. My only problem is with the DVD's as they scratch easily and the child is constantly coming to you to fix it. I buy a lot of DVD's because of this problem. Little ones don't
understand you have to be careful not to scratch them.
I wish they were made for little ones as tough as the player itself.

Customer Buzz
It is a great entertainment tool for kids on the go.
It can be easily taken on a plane, train, car or bus.

Customer Buzz
I purchased this directly from the Toys-R-Us store. It was great the first day we used it. We did not drop it or damage it. It just stopped working. Well, I thought it was a damaged piece before I bought it so I exchanged it for another one. That one worked two times. That is it! I went back to the Toy store and AGAIN EXCHANGED IT. This time I had to pay $17.00 for a stupid warranty so I could return it to the manufacture because Toys-R-Us will no longer let me exchange it. GUESS WHAT!!!!! It worked for about 2 weeks played about ten times and IT STOPPED WORKING!!!!!!!! We DID NOT DROP IT AND ALWAYS MADE SURE IT WAS CHARGED. I AM SO UPSET!!!! It cost TOO MUCH MONEY
for the DVD player then to pay seperatley for the car charger with earphones and the bag. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!! My son loved it when it worked. It is a piece of.......

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Jumbo Cardboard Blocks

Product Description

The Big Bad Wolf has nothing on these sturdy cardboard blocks. They're easy to assemble, and they're lightweight so even the youngest builders can construct their dream home. Bright colors mean endless combinations. Blocks come in several different sizes. Includes 40 blocks.

Customer Buzz
Good for young children however made of cardboard which makes them easily destroyed. All in all an ok item.

Customer Buzz
We just ordered these for our 2 year old, and I am now back to purchase another set....one just doesn't seem to be enough! They are very sturdy and will certainly get your little one's imagination going! Not to mention, they are fun to knock down after!

Customer Buzz
My kids really enjoy playing with these blocks. Like people in other reviews have said, we wish they included more of the red blocks and less of the yellow ones. There's not enough to make a fortress wall, etc. These aren't as durable and thick as the ones I played with as a child, but they are reinforced so that if a small child stepped on one, they won't flatten easily. Overall, good for the price, but we may need to buy more red blocks.

Customer Buzz
When the package with the blocks arrived, I thought I might have made a misstake in purchasing them. Lying there unassembled, they did not look at all sturdy. But when we had them all put together, the fun began. My granddaughter is very active 3 year old with an active imagination. We have built roads, walls, beds, tables, chairs, and some things that only she knows what they are. They are very sturdy and I believe they are helpful in developing fine motor skills. She is getting very good at stacking them "to the sky". We made a very good choice

Customer Buzz
I bought these for my one year-old daughter and four year-old son for Christmas and they are a huge hit! My son loves to build walls, towers and other things out of them! There are not quite enough blocks to build a fort or really tall wall, so we're going to buy another set really soon! This is a great indoor activity for the cold winter!

I rated the blocks 4 stars for durability- just because one of our small yellow blocks has torn and has to be taped to repair and some of the other blocks are a bit dented, but my kids can be kinda rough with stuff and these are made out of cardboard. I can say that these are pretty strong- my daugher likes to stand on them!

Customer Buzz
My son had these many years ago and loved them. bought these for the grandson and he appears to be equally happy. It takes a long time for the child to "grow out of them"

Customer Buzz
Gave these to my two grandbabies for Christmas. One is 4, the other 3. I can't beleive how much they loved them. They have built everything from castles to corrals. The blocks are lightweight and easy for little hands to handle and sturdy enough not only to sit on but to stand on as well. I anticipate years and years of fun. I love the fact that the blocks are cardboard and not plastic.

Customer Buzz
Got these for my grandsons' visit. The boys (3 years old)love them. They stand up to their use and ever better don't hurt anyone when they are tossed about. We store them in plastic storage boxes. Great fun!

Customer Buzz
First, these blocks are durable. I bought these for my oldest daughter. They ended up going through three children. There are still a few block around the house. I use them as spacers, to keep the couch from banging against the wall.

Second, these blocks are fun. My kids built forts, and walls, and roads, and more. As simple as they are, they were used a lot. One of the favorite games was for Dad to build a tower that reached all the way to the ceiling. Then it was time for the "earthquake" (complete with Daddy sound effects and child giggles) that had the tower tumbling down to the floor.

Third, these blocks are trouble free. If the kids want to stand on them, don't worry -- they won't be damaged. If the kids build tall structures, don't worry -- they won't hurt anybody. If the kids want to chew them, don't worry, they're safe for that also.

I thought the blocks were a nice toy, but my eyes were opened this Christmas. The daughter I bought these for left home, got married, and had a baby. (That's a nice order of things, but I won't claim the blocks helped with that part of here development!) This was the baby's first Christmas. It turns out we had a minor fight over who would get to give the new baby these blocks as a Christmas present! (My youngest daughter won.) You simply can't get a better review than that.

Customer Buzz
We bought these blocks for our 1-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son for Christmas. My husband and I assembled them (which was a fun little project for us to do together) and our 3-year-old son couldn't wait for us to be done. He liked building a house with these. And our little 1-year-old daughter likes to knock them down. They're very durable too! I was happily surprised at how well they are constructed. I would definitely recommend these blocks as a worthwhile toy for kids that promotes imaginative play. The only downside is... where do you store them? When they're not being used, we're going to keep them in a big sturdy trash bag.
